          Blue Ivy, 12, looked elegant as she stood next to the rap icon, 54, in an ensemble that beautifully contrasted his.

          While he sported an all-black suit, the preteen donned a white age-appropriate off-the-shoulder dress that was very princess-like.

          The daddy-daughter duo fully represented Afrocentrism with their hairdos: Jay-Z with his thick dreadlocks, and Blue Ivy with her goddess braids.

          Jay-Z joked that his Grammy awards used to be a "sippy cup for Blue" before he admiringly informed the audience that was no longer the case since she's "grown up and has her own Grammys."
