          6. He was born in Rome and completed his undergraduate degree at La Sapienza University of Rome under the guidance of Federico Caffè. Draghi then pursued his doctoral degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States, where he was mentored by Nobel laureates Franco Modigliani and Robert Solow.

          Academic Career

          From 1981 to 1991, Draghi served as a professor at the University of Florence while simultaneously working as the executive director of the World Bank from 1984 to 1990.
