          Mr. Bunting holds dual degrees in Political Science (BA from Salisbury University) and Fire Science (BS from University of Maryland, University College), with minors in Communications and Business Administration.

          Mr. Bunting began his career over 25 years ago in the fire service as a firefighter, rescue diver, fire inspector, and fire/explosives investigator, and currently serves as the Deputy Chief/Bomb Squad Commander in charge of code enforcement, fire investigation, HAZMAT response, and bomb squad operations for a large, mid-Atlantic City.

          He has been a certified police officer for over 15 years, and developed and serves in the department’s explosive breaching program. Through his career, Mr. Bunting has extensive operational and supervisory experience in special events and emergency incident operations, equipment testing and development, internal and inter-agency policy/procedure development, exercise design and evaluation involving state/local/f
